Girls' Weekend At Mandi's!

So, I guess I should mention that the girls did not just disappear for the weekend! Mandi was so sweet to watch them for us. We didn't figure they would like the game that much, so on Friday, I took them to Kanab and Mandi and her girls let them spend the weekend. They had much more fun there than they would have with us. On Saturday, they all went with Dad and Mom out in the hills to enjoy a day in the sun! Mandi took them to the store and spoiled them rotten! They cooked hot dogs and found lots of treasures to bring home.
(Check out more pictures of their great day on mom's blog.) On Sunday they all had fun playing games. It was a fun weekend for all!! :)

Jazz Game!!

Wow!! The Jazz game was awesome! Jeff, Dallen, and I had a great trip up north this weekend. We left Saturday morning at around 7:30 a.m.. We made a few stops on the way...the Beaver pawn shop is pretty cool. We also stopped at four other gun/ammo places and Dallen started getting a little bored. We got to the game about an hour early and as we were walking in, they were handing out Jazz basketballs to everyone. (Jeff and I even got one...for the girls.) Dallen was excited to get an AK47 jersey!! At first we thought our seats were here.....

But this is where we were really sitting....

We were on the VERY TOP row! We could still pick out the Jazz players and just to feel the atmosphere was awesome! But, we were quite high. So, here's Dall's favorite player - Kirilenko - shooting a foul shot.
We did have a lot of fun. It was really neat because we got to be there for the tribute to Larry H. Miller.

Happy Birthday, Mom! We sure love you!!!

I just had to put this great picture on - Mom will shoot me - but her birthday is Feb. 9th, so we all got together and had Navajo Tacos (again-thank goodness we all love them) for her special day (a couple days early)! I won't say how old she is - there were five candles on the cake for each decade - so fifty something. Buddy & Tami & kids made it this time and brought Jessie along. Mandi & girls came over after she got off work! We enjoyed games, and of course, FOOD (and don't forget the cake and ice cream-$100 Cake that I sank worse than I've ever sunk a cake before:( )!!!

Dallen had his last game Friday night. He and a friend were the only two Glendale boys who had to play on the Orderville team because Glendale had too many boys for their team. Anyway, the last game was against Glendale (all of his other close friends) and he made the last shot of the season. He tied up the game with five seconds to go - and we thought there was no better way to end it. Both teams enjoyed a closing social with sloppy joes and salads and desserts afterward and he got this cool certificate. We are pretty excited to go up to the Jazz game in SLC on the 21st of February. Dallen got a free ticket for playing Jr. Jazz ball and Jeff and I only have to pay $10.50 per ticket. We couldn't really pass up that deal. (The girls are excited to spend the night with Rylie and Saige!)

And here is our beautiful birthday girl in her gorgeous new leotard. Also showing off her pretty crown and ballet shoes to match!! (Grammie and Sierra are working hard on their laptops in the background-or maybe just surfin' the net!)

Well, Jentry was born on Super Bowl Sunday and this year her birthday fell on Super Bowl Day again. I had got on the internet and ordered some of these awesome 3-D glasses to watch "Chuck" the next night, but we also used them during the game to watch some of the commercials! Aren't they stylin'??

I like this picture of Kristi, even though she felt a little under-the-weather that day!
Jeff, Dallen, & Bevan taking in all the excitement of present opening!

Jentry, Sierra, Rylie and Saige enjoying their cake & ice cream!
Little Miss Jentry had her 5th birthday on Feb. 1st!! We had Grammie & Pappo, Mandi & girls, Grandma Lamb & Grandpa Dar, Kelly & Mesia, Aunt Kristi & Uncle Bev over for Navajo Tacos (our most popular birthday dinner) and cake and ice cream. She got lots of fun stuff and we all enjoyed getting together!!
