Christmas Morning!

Jentry thought we needed to put some Christmas morning pictures on, so here are a few (just a little late). They all made a haul - between Santa, Dad & Mom, Grandparents, Cousins, and friends! Dallen got a bow and arrow from Santa, while Sisi got a Barbie Laptop, and Jentry got a V-Smile video game.

Tubing down the road! Rylie and Jentry give Sisi a push while Mesia stands by to supervise.

And boy did it turn out cute! (Saige's in this one too!)

Jentry, Sierra and Rylie building a snowman....

Grandma Mack and all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren! (Except for Alicia and Uncle Buck's family.)

This is my family! (Everyone but Mike.) Aren't we a happy bunch??

This is my family's Christmas party on December 20th at Aunt Chelle's house in Cedar City. We celebrated like the country of Romania. (Each year we choose a different country. It gets very interesting.)
All the kids showing off their cute winter hats that Grammie made them with Grandma Mack in the back watching!

Linsey (Brooklin's mom) holding hands with her cute tree that Frank picked out. It definitely is unique!

I just love this picture of my cousin Cammie and cousin Brooklin! We all met up on Cedar Mountain for the day to get Christmas Trees. It was so fun getting together with everyone!!

And this is what we've got so far this year! It also started early in the month of December and as you can see, it's also well over two feet!! It is now finally getting warm enough in the day to start melting it!

This is how much snow we got last year. I think it started on December 8th and we got over two feet altogether! It was sooooo pretty!!

Fall 2008

Kelly & Mesia (as husband & wife) at their reception in Cedar City. Aren't they a dashing couple?

And last, but not least, check out that scenery! Did he capture it perfect or what???

Jentry - what a little princess! (also by Jeff)

Sierra - ever the poser! (also by Jeff)

Dallen - what a cool dude! (also by Jeff)

Jeff really surprised me when he tried his hand at photography. After the luncheon, I had to run an errand and he started snapping pictures of the kids!! They turned out very well. He may have to take over the picture taking more often! Don't you think??

What beautiful kids (cute cousin Erin - center) posing for a quick photo while waiting for Kelly & Mesia's luncheon to start!

And here are the Bride & Groom, along with Grandma Lamb & Grandpa Dar!

"The Guys" (Bevan, Dallen, Jeff, Uncle Ray, Cousin Julian, and Beach Grandpa) hanging out waiting for Kelly & Mesia to make their grand appearance at the Temple.

Dallen pulled off the "Nerd" costume pretty good. Sierra wished to be a cute "Tinkerbell". And Jentry made a beautiful "Belle". Mom and I worked all day one day to make the girls' costumes, but it was worth it to see them so gorgeous!!

Grammie and Pappo and their whole brood of urchins!! (Back to front) Dallen, Baylee, Jentry, Rylie, Luke, Saige, Sierra and Beau! Posing in our backyard after Sierra's 7th birthday party.

A Few More Pics of California

I like this picture of Great Grandma and Jeff, Kelly, Bevan and Kristi!

Great Grandma Quient (Beach Grandpa's mother) is 99 years old and still going strong! She enjoys it when the kids come to see her and always makes a fuss about getting out her old toys for them to play with. Of course they love building things with the blocks that Grandma Lamb and Daddy used to play with as kids!!

Dallen, Sierra, and Jentry with Beach Grandpa in Redondo Beach - after eating at "Joe's Crab Shack".

I love this picture of Kelly and Bevan. Bevan is just making a point that maybe he's not the "little brother" after all.

And yes, even Jeff, who never fails to complain about going anywhere, loves it too - when the water is warm enough to get in!!

And Jentry didn't care so much about the water. (Now) Aunt Mesia helped her build this beautiful sand castle!!

Sierra was getting pretty good at it!!

Dallen - taking a shot at body surfing.

We had a great trip to California in August. As I mentioned in my very first post (when I was just starting out), we went to Disneyland, Disney's California Adventure, to Grandpa and Granma's house in Hermosa Beach, and to visit Jeff's Great Grandma in Sun City. The kids always have a blast at the beach, and so do I. I wade into the water and try to find seashells. On two seperate occasions, I have found full sanddollars!! That's always exciting. UnclesKelly and Bevan were teaching the kids to body surf. We all had a great time!

Catching Up On Things!

The poor little creatures that live near us....Jeff is always out shooting with the kids. I don't even know how many poor helpless birds died because of Dallen's great aim. And the rabbits on our quad rides better watch out too. Jeff is always on the lookout for coyotes (there is a $25 bounty on them here in Utah). And last, but not least, the poor little woodchucks (or varmints). Like this one pictured here, had a nice little home in the field at the KOA, but I guess their holes are a nuisance for the horse's leggs!

Here's some of my family at our Davis Family Reunion (my mom's side) just kicking back in Toquerville, Utah. Mandi, Dad, Jeff, Jentry, Uncle Sid, Aunt Patti, Cousin Danny, Popsi (my Grandpa Don, and Mom.

We also had a couple of reunions that we attended this year. This is my Dad's brothers and 1/2 sister and their spouses at Dad's Jolley reunion in Tropic, Utah. Emma & David Millett, Melanie & Rob Millett, Christine & David Johnson, Mom & Dad, Susan & Ron Millett, Paul Millett, his girlfriend and her mom (sorry, I don't remember their names).

Dallen & Bevan - with a catfish (I think).

Dallen & Sierra on Bevan's water trampoline.
Sierra and Jentry - Just kicking around like the little guppies they are!!

We also spent a good deal of time at Lake Powell. Jeff's folks have a houseboat and a ski boat. We also inherited an older ski boat to take the kids tubing on. We just have to remember....SUNBLOCK, WATER, & SALT (mostly for Dallen and Jentry who seem to let the sun take every once of energy from them)!! The water is always so refreshing and the kids also love to fish with Uncle Bev, Jeff and Kristi's friend Rory! Sierra became quite a good little diver this year. We were very excited about that!

What a cool dude! And Sierra in that sexy hat, ready for a ride with Rylie and Grammie. Then Jentry waits patiently for Daddy to get ready!

We also went on a few 4-wheeler rides....and cooking hotdogs over a fire is a must!

This past summer we did quite a bit of camping and fishing. The kids were all excited, they each caught a fish of their own! Jeff is always very good and patient with them!

Dallen got quite a shiner while playing minor league this past May. He got a little nervous after this and didn't want to play much the last couple of games. I can't really blame him!! We hope he will get back in there this year and have fun!

So, many of you may have seen Jeff's nice bull elk he shot in Sept. 2007, but is case you didn't, here it is. It is now mounted (European Style), and hanging in our living room. We love it!
